Delete your Pitanga account

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app, without asking anyone.
In the app
1. Open Pitanga and tap your picture at the top.
2. Tap Settings and scroll down to "Delete my account".
3. To keep a copy first, use "Download your data" just above it.
4. Type your username to confirm and tap delete.
What is deleted
The account and everything that is yours: messages you sent, photos, voice notes, notes, answers, your picks on the menu and your own log. It happens at once and cannot be undone; backups stop holding it within 30 days.
What stays with your partner
The dates of evenings you shared (without your note or photo), the cards in your menu and the lists you share. Those are theirs as much as yours.
Can't get into the app?
If you can no longer sign in, ask for deletion through the contact below, giving your username.
